A one-day tour of the Sacred Valley lets you experience these incredible sites in a single journey.
Morning Adventure
The day kicks off at 6:30 AM when our mini-bus picks you up from your accommodation. From there, we head straight into the Andes, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way. These stops allow for breathtaking photos of the Sacred Valley’s stunning landscapes.
Our first major stop is Pisac, where you’ll explore the fascinating archaeological site and stroll through the colorful artisan market. The terraced ruins and ancient temples here are a testament to the genius of Inca engineering.
Midday Break
Next, we journey deeper into the valley to Ollantaytambo, where we’ll enjoy a delicious Andean-style lunch at a charming local restaurant. The menu features traditional dishes that highlight the unique flavors of the region.
Afternoon Exploration
After lunch, we’ll tour the impressive archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. This fortress-like village offers a glimpse into Inca culture, history, and their remarkable ability to harmonize with nature.
Before heading back to Cusco, we’ll make a stop in Chinchero, a quaint town with rich traditions. You’ll visit its archaeological site, chapel, and weaving families, where you’ll learn about the region’s renowned textile art.
Finally, we’ll return to Cusco, dropping you off at San Francisco Square in the city center by evening.
