Welcome to a unique 3-day experience in the Sacred Valley of the Incas , where adventure, ancient culture, and well-being merge into a perfectly balanced itinerary.
This tour is designed for travelers looking to connect with the profound history of the Incas, enjoy the thrill of exploring on ATVs, and recharge in an exclusive lodge setting and relaxation sessions.
The Sacred Valley, with its temperate climate and stunning landscapes, was a vital region for the Inca Empire due to its fertility and spiritual significance, and this tour will allow you to discover its best-kept secrets.
Our adventure begins in the majestic city of Cusco, where we will pick you up from your hotel at 11:00 am.
As we leave the city behind, the landscape gradually transforms, revealing the impressive Andean mountains and deep valleys that will welcome us to the heart of the Inca Empire.
Our first stop takes us to the town of Chinchero .
We’ll walk among imposing Inca terraces while our guide tells us the history of the Palace of Túpac Yupanqui . Local weavers, in their colorful traditional costumes, will show us how they keep ancient weaving techniques alive.
If we are lucky enough to visit on a Sunday we will be able to appreciate the hustle and bustle and colors of the traditional market with beautiful pre-Columbian traditions.
After enjoying lunch in Urubamba (at the traveler’s expense), we will delve into one of the most fascinating mysteries of the Inca world: Moray
Our guide will explain how this advanced agricultural laboratory worked , where each level created a different microclimate, allowing the Incas to cultivate more than 250 varieties of potatoes and corn.
We will then visit the Maras Salt Mines , which are thousands of white salt pools that contrast dramatically with the green valley, creating a stunning visual spectacle.
We’ll take a stroll through these ponds, observing how the local people keep alive a tradition that dates back to pre-Inca times. If you wish, you can purchase the famous pink salt as a unique souvenir.
In the afternoon we will arrive at our Lodge ” Spirit of the River Lodge ” , where the sound of the river will lull us throughout the night. Check -in at 6:30 pm marks the end of an unforgettable day.
This day begins with a hearty breakfast at the lodge . At 9:30 a.m., we’ll have a training session for our ATV adventure . If you’re a beginner, our team of professionals will help you with everything you need.
At 10:00 am, we’ll make our way to the Hummingbird Sanctuary . We’ll experience a sense of freedom as we drive along the roads of the Sacred Valley. The landscapes unfold before us: towering mountains, fertile valleys, and the intense blue sky of the Andes. At the sanctuary, a spectacle of color and movement awaits us, where hummingbirds display their incredible agility and beauty.
We return to “ Spirit” Of the River Lodge ” for lunch (traveler’s own expense), and our Wellness Day experience begins at 2:00 pm . The lodge becomes our personal sanctuary of relaxation.
Therapeutic massages relieve any muscle tension, while the sauna session helps us release toxins and connect deeply with our bodies.
It’s the perfect balance after the morning adrenaline rush.
This day will offer a spiritual and reconnecting experience. At 7:30 a.m., we begin our yoga session, enjoying the fresh morning air, the sounds of nature, and the panoramic views of the Sacred Valley. This creates the perfect setting to stretch our bodies and calm our minds.
